Situated on a 50-acre site, the new Central Mountain School replaces three existing junior/senior high schools in the district. One of the schools will become a middle school, while this new facility will house over 1,100 students in grades 9-12.

The new school contains a two story classroom wing, an auditorium, library and gymnasium that seats 1,600 spectators.
The site has parking for students and faculty, athletic fields and a main football field with track.

The design incorporates many concepts to enhance learning, security, and community. Computer rooms have direct access to the library. Family and consumer science have direct access to the computer rooms and an exterior entrance. Art rooms have direct access to the construction/manufacturing area and technology labs. The school is a small village designed as the center of the community.
